The word demanding is the word that society uses to “politely” call a woman a bitch for advocating for herself and the people around her. It’s also a word in John Frieda’s global tagline: Made For Demanding Hair.

But when we really thought about it hair isn’t demanding, the person is. So we took back the word demanding and made it a moniker for any woman who demands better for herself or the world around her. Because when women demand better, the world’s better for it.
